The energy went up once Monster Jam started rapping, beat boxing, and stage diving. He often had a genuine smile of enjoyment on his face. Until Monster Jam broke in with his bad-ass beat-boxing skills and rapped some of the verses, the encore started with some blond dread-locked barefoot dude with an acoustic guitar covering Soul Rebel, which was soulful and stirring. Just enjoy the moment, people. The end would have been exceptional, but all they wanted to do was grab him and hold up their smart phones to take a picture with him. He brought about 30 people from the audience on stage to sing the final song. Nobody stood up until Monster Jam jumped off the stage, and the lady next to me didn't look up from her phone until the encore started. It's a reggae show, you've got to dance!
